It’s been a busy, busy month and as the days turn into weeks and months, and suddenly it’s September and feeling distinctly autumnal, I thought I’d do a quick roundup of some of our summer adventures…
We had decadent breakfasts in Giraffe…
found wallpaper patterned with pens which has shot to the top of our wishlists, 
drank gallons of iced tea as well as our usual hot tea,
hunted giraffes in the most unlikely places around Colchester, 
fitted in some sneaky sunbathing when we managed to stop the Ink Drops duck from hogging the deckchair,
worked on the website,
read in the sunshine,
gone for long bike rides with all the essentials strapped to the back… 
posted beautiful letters (of course),
positively gorged on strawberries,
And finally, having indulged in, adored and truly savoured summer, started to look to autumn and all the delights it brings.
