Our links roundups are some of my favourite go-to posts for a quiet fifteen minutes with a cuppa – mainly because normally the lovely Annastasia writes them!

My turn today, accompanied by cake (obviously) – I hope you like my selections as much as you usually like hers!

April is not behaving in a suitably April-like fashion – today is the first ray of sunshine I’ve seen for MONTHS. Consequently, everyone I’ve seen today has been wearing flip flops and freezing slowly from the toes up. It’s not quite summertime yet.

On the plus side, it’s a month for brisk walks and pub lunches, and if it’s a little too cold to eat outdoors yet – well, there’s always time to learn something new instead!

Did you know about the National Cycle Network? I’m totally a fair-weather only cyclist, but am looking forward to getting out & about on traffic-free trails – and I’m sure the local drivers are breathing a sigh of relief that my lovely vintage style bike will be nowhere near main roads…!
