It’s the end of February. Thank goodness!
Well-documented are blue in January. For me, it’s actually a month of planning, new beginnings and action.
And of course, there’s always some kind of delicious stationery from my Christmas stocking, and my new year letters and parcels to be sent out.
February, on the other hand, often seems to be endless, drizzly and full of sadness and lethargy. Even though my birthday falls in the third week!
I am a firm believer in making your own luck, however, so I plan to flip February on its head.
Our #gratitudesnaps project has helped a lot this year, as has watching my kittens grow up.
Next year I will plan for February. Pretty umbrellas, weekend visits with friends, long lazy lunches and time to do all the things that make me happy.
Good books, lots of sleep and my mum and dad’s cooking.
Kitten (well, cat) cuddles, duvet days and pots of tea.
Snuggly gloves, bright-coloured scarves and comfy boots, days spent with my camera and evenings with my typewriter.
Actually, that all sounds so good I believe I’ll start in March. So that means I have 11 months to practice for next February, right?!
What would turn a dull month into one of your favourites?
I buy daffodils whenever I buy milk in February! X
Oooh I love that!
