May’s stationery subscription box was full of delightful things. So let’s take a closer look:
Message in a bottle postcard
To begin with, there was the message in a bottle polaroid postcards. These are such lovely little pieces of ephemera, they’re almost too pretty to send. If you decide to keep yours, we like the idea of pegging a few up on a string above your desk for instant inspiration. So it’s an easy way to have sunshine and beaches on hand.
Pop-out present tags
Next are the delightful pop out present tags, from one of our favourite suppliers, the Pop Out Card Company. These are so cute and work just as well for scrapbooking as they do for gift tags. I’ve attached the mint green one to some ribbon and am currently using it as a bookmark!
Bicycle birthday card
Always keeping you organised, here’s a wonderful card which works for almost anyone’s birthday. Of course, we love a niche as much as the next person it is sometimes those more general ones that are really useful to have on hand. The bike’s wheels are wooden and I’m extremely tempted to try and make them into earrings…
Washi tape
Obviously, we couldn’t resist including the biggest roll of washi tape in the world! It’s a fabulous deep purple. So it’s wide enough to do the job of present wrapping, it’s also narrow enough to be a very pretty divider in your bullet journal. Or to decorate the front of your accounts folders (or is it just me who does that in an attempt to make it more appealing?!)
Decorative stickers
Last but very much not least is a wonderful pack of stickers. They feature everything from scissors to notebooks to monstera leaves to retro furniture. We were both weirdly delighted by the idea of having a chair or a lamp decorate our notebooks. Do share what you got up to with yours!
